Iran short film 'The Gas Regulator' screens in German festival

‘The Gas Regulator’ short film has been shown at the 20Min-Max International Short Film Festival in Germany.

‘The Gas Regulator’ (Gas Pipe) short film has been screened at the 20Min-Max International Short Film Festival in Germany.

Directed by Hossein Darabi and produced by Maryam Naghibi, the less-than-eight-min film vied at the competition section of the German festival on Tuesday, May 30.

The short film ‘The Gas Regulator’ revolves around the story of a gas pipe in the street that causes various incidents and everybody has a different reaction.

Born 1982, Darabi is currently studying Animation in university. His film credits include among other ‘Fahraj, The Lost Border’ (2011), ‘The Gas Regulator’ (Gas Pipe) (2016) and ‘Dive’ (2017).

The 20Min-Max International Short Film Festival literally stands by its name hosting films of multiple genres only limited by a running time of maximum 20 minutes.

The 11th edition of the 20Min-Max International Short Film Festival is held from May 25 to June 4, 2017.
